Hollinger Protest/Picket Line
- We will be in front of the school every Tuesday and Thursday morning, from 7:30 - 8:15 a.m. until the election.We will also be there every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon (parents from 2:40 p.m. until.... and teachers from 3:40 p.m.[the end of their contract time]  Please join us or drive by and let us know you support what we are doing. Hollinger Elementary School bilingual teachers, teacher aides, support staff, parents and students walked a picket line in front of the school in support of bilingual education.They held signs saying "I'm proud to be bilingual"; "literacy in TWO languages"; "No on Proposition 203", etc.

FRI NOV 3, PHOENIX, PRAYER VIGIL 
6:00PM, Friday Nov 3. Esplanade in front of the State Capitol. The Reverend Father Antonio Sotelo will preside this Friday, 3rd of November, A VIGIL organized with the purpose of defending all parents to educate their children according to their conscience,as permitted by the Constitution of the United States; most especially, for the support of the BILINGUAL EDUCATION in this November election against Proposition 203.This vigil will begin at 6:00 P.M. in the esplanade in front of the State Capitol. Members of all religious organizations of the Valley are cordially invited to this meeting whose purpose is to defend the civil rights of the entire community of Arizona. We would provide candles for the participants, but we would ask them to bring their own flash-light since wind might prevent the use of the candles. The state Capitol is located at 1700W. MON NOV 6, TUCSON, PROTEST IN FRONT OF SCHOOLS
We are trying to organize students and parents from as many schools as possible to make signs and stand in front of their schools or in front of their closest intersection on Monday November 6th.  If you are at a school site, get together with you PTSA or whatever other resource to bring this together. Help us stop the injustice of Prop 203. Please join us in the following event:
On Monday, November 6, 2000, many Arizonans will fast and pray for voters across the state.  We will pray for the hardened heart, that they be softened.  We will pray the scales be removed from voters' eyes so they might see the racism and callousness of Prop 203.  And we will earnestly pray for the defeat of Prop 203 and stop this attempt to silence the voices of children!
