A statewide coalition dedicated to
high school reform will host a series of forums in Tucson this week to
explore ways of better preparing students for life after graduation.
The main forum focus is discussing how
Arizona's high schools can improve how they ready graduates for college and
the job market.
The Arizona Business & Education
Coalition will host its first community forum Wednesday at Pima Community
College's Desert Vista Campus, 5901 S. Calle Santa Cruz. The bilingual forum
will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Pueblo Building, Ocotillo Room A.
The English forum will be held
Thursday at PCC's Northwest Campus, 7600 N. Shannon Road. The event will run
from 2 to 4 p.m. in Building A, Room A-207.
Forums are sponsored by the coalition
and the Arizona Community College Coalition.
