Glendale is offering a chance to learn another language at no cost.

The Rosetta Stone computer software provides a comprehensive curriculum to learn English or Spanish. An "Introduction to Rosetta Stone" will be offered in the computer lab at Velma Teague Branch Library, 7010 N. 58th Ave., at 7 p.m. Monday. Users will be able to practice reading and listening comprehension, plus speech recognition and compare their pronunciation with that of a native speaker.

Taught in Spanish, the first 30 minutes will be hands-on instruction. The next hour will have students beginning the first lesson. They can return as often as they like to progress through the lessons.
